Sponsor a Light
Each year, the light show attracts more than 30,000 delighted children and adults and raises tens of thousands of dollars to support RCIL's programs and services.
The Wonderland of Lights has rapidly become one of the most popular family outings in the region. It's a brilliant way to support RCIL's innovative and much-respected programs and services while also gaining visibility for your company as a generous sponsor of a large, glittering light in this ever-growing show.
In addition, each year hundreds of families, small businesses, and individuals choose to sponsor a small light in memory or honor of a loved one. Regardless of sponsorship level, everyone's participation is crucial to the success of the Wonderland of Lights show -- and thousands of happy children can attest to this!
Light sponsorship opportunities
Large light displays can be sponsored at levels ranging from $1,000 to $10,000. These are normally sponsored by local and regional businesses, who see this as their opportunity to support RCIL while helping to create a memorable family event that has already become a "must do" holiday outing.
Large light display sponsorship includes the following benefits:
- Your company name will be prominently featured by your light display
- Your company receives a free recognition ad in the Wonderland of Lights program inserted in the Observer-Dispatch, which goes to over 55,000 households
- Complimentary passes to Wonderland of Lights (exact number varies with sponsorship level)
Small lights can be sponsored at three levels: candy canes for $25, snowflakes for $50, and pine trees for $150. These lights make the mile-and-a-half-long journey twinkle in a truly wonderful way! Your entire donation is tax deductible, and as a token of our appreciation, your name -- and if it's a memorial light, the name of your loved one -- will be listed in the Wonderland of Lights program inserted in the Observer-Dispatch.

Personalized Banner Program!
Here is your opportunity to send a message to someone special in your life, either personal or professional, at the Light Show through a new Personalized Banner Program.
The Banners are a unique way to celebrate a proposal, send birthday or anniversary wishes, congratulate a colleague on a promotion, a new baby - the possibilities are endless and the 3' x 4' banner is yours to keep!
There are many colors and graphics to choose from - hearts, holly, ribbon, teddy bears, storks, stars. And colors galore! Black, Red, Green, Blue or Yellow! Just ask when you call to place your order.

How you can volunteer
This event couldn't take place without our dedicated volunteers -- and we're always looking for more! You can help with the setup of our small light displays or spend an evening greeting happy show attendees. Please contact RCIL to learn how you can become involved.

Thursday, November 18, 2010 - First Night! The Utica Road Runners Run/Walk Safety Night. Open to those wishing to run and/or walk through the light show.
5:30 - 8:00 pm
Friday, November 19, 2010 the Wonderland of Lights Drive-Through Begins! Open until January 1, 2011 from 5:30 - 9:00pm

$7 advance sale tickets available at RCIL, 409 Columbia Street and all Price Chopper locations
$8 per vehicle at the gatehouse entrance of the Light Show
$15 for 15 passenger vehicles and limosines
$50 for buses
Kids bring your letters for Santa to the Wonderland of Lights, and drop it in the special Santa mailbox during the light show. Santa will send a personalized letter back!

Take Culver Ave. Exit off Route 5S onto Bleeker St.
Turn LEFT onto Bleeker St.
Go past the entrance to the Masonic Care Community
Turn RIGHT onto Industrial Park Dr.
Turn RIGHT onto Welshbush Rd. and continue to Wonderland of Light Show Entrance.
